A Pets For Vets Match Story

Richard and Mecca

Richard planned a career in the Air Force until he was injured and had to retire after 23 years. Being a very active man, Richard wanted a dog that could share in his activities. Along comes Mecca, a perfect, active dog for Richard. At 52 pounds, Richard was surprised PfV had picked that big of a dog. But it didn’t take long for the two of them to bond and participate in many activities. Mecca has a second job; Richards ailing brother enjoys the big dogs company also. Thanks to Pets for Vets, Richard and Mecca have found a wonderful bond and companionship.
