Darryl and Cindy

Darryl R. Harrigan, a Vietnam-era veteran was matched with Cindy, a Cockapoo, through the Los Angeles chapter of Pets for Vets. He has written the following open letter to fellow Veterans:

“Hi!

This letter is for fellow vets that need a companion animal. Pets for Vets is the place to get a “well heeled dog” and friend for life. Give them a try. I don’t know what I would do without my dog Cindy. She’s the best — just look at her.

Thank you to Susan and to Pets for Vets. I can’t explain how much better Cindy has made my life.”
