A Pets For Vets Match Story

George and Romeo

George served in the Army from 1958 to 1962 at Fort Knox. Unable to have a live cat, George chose a robo cat he named Romeo. The story goes...our nursing home had a live cat that a visitor brought in for pet visits that had gotten looses in the building. We turned Romeo on and used her meows to entice the live cat out of hiding. IT WORKED!  Romeo is now our resident search & rescue cat.

Thank you George for your service all those years ago!
