Our First Match

We are thrilled to announce that we are ending 2013 with our first veteran match.

Xochitl is a small shepherd mix who came to us from the Colusa County Animal shelter. The kind folks at the shelter said that Xochitl is a dog looking for a person of her own….what more could we ask for than that. Xochitl is a smart dog with the sweetest face and the most expressive eyes. She has spent the last six weeks learning her manners on her trainers ranch. She met cows, lots of dogs and her favorite, a foster sister, shown below.

On Saturday December 28th, Xochitl, which means flower and the name chosen by her veteran, went to her forever home in Woodland, CA. While she is a hit with the entire family, it took her no time at all to claim the veteran as her own. He takes her on daily walks which she enjoys but she prefers relaxing on the couch where she can cuddle up with and get petted by her main guy.
