A Pets For Vets Match Story

Jesse and Jeremiah

Jesse and Jeremiah were the first match made by the Portland, Maine chapter of Pets for Vets. We loved getting this update from Jesse:

“Jeremiah is fantastic! Yesterday afternoon I took him for a walk around the block, and although it wasn’t a long walk it was a good start. And it was almost as soon as it got dark out that he laid down next to me on the couch and was just as happy as could be. What you are doing is absolutely wonderful.

Last night he was in my bed before I was. So funny how he talks in his sleep! He knows he's home, and he's loving it. Jeremiah is such an amazing dog. We're getting along great and I can’t wait for everything that’s coming our way together!”
