A Pets For Vets Match Story

Cody and Quincy

I found out my dog's name a little before Pets for Vets brought him to me. I couldn't wait to meet Quincy. He came home early December and at first he was like any other dog wanting to see this new place. Once he was relaxed, he jumped right up in my lap giving me kisses, one of the best moments of my life.

Quincy is very well trained. He knows to use the bathroom outside and loves going on walks. The first week together we went to the park and walked the trails.

The best part about Quincy is he is always right at the door with his little bear toy that he had at the shelter when Pets for Vets found him.

He has helped me emotionally with my depression and PTSD. He lies right next to me when I sleep and I haven't had nightmares since. He and I go everywhere together. He is my new battle buddy.

So thankful for everything Pets for Vets has done for me.

Sincerely,
Cody
