Geary and Cheyenne

I'm the recipient of a Pets for Vets companion dog, Cheyenne. I'm amazed by the time and effort they put into finding the perfect companion for me.

After only a few weeks it felt as if I've had Cheyenne since she was born. We've grown very close in a short period of time.

I get exercise I normally wouldn't by taking her for daily walks, which lowers my stress levels. When I feel anxiety coming on we go outside and play fetch and I begin to smile and play with her feeling less anxiety. I never feel alone now that I have my companion dog.

Pets for Vets is truly a wonderful program.
