A Pets For Vets Match Story

George and Trinity

George is a Marine Corporal who was looking for a companion dog to help with the emotional injuries he sustained during his time in Iraq. Trinity is a lab mix who made her way from Mississippi to the ROAR shelter, where she was adopted and trained for George by the ROAR-Ridgefield chapter of Pets for Vets. From the first introduction, there was love all around. Trinity knew she had a purpose – she had been rescued and now she is focused on “rescuing” George.
