A Pets For Vets Match Story

John and Maverick

Having Maverick come into my life has been a godsend for me. I know every time I open the door to my apartment I'm going to get a warm greeting and an offer to play. Maverick would play 24 hours a day if I could stay awake for him. It is a responsibility taking care of him, but he never fails to thank me for everything I do for him. I talk to Maverick as if he were a person and he always listens intently. I now have a companion to watch television with and a live alarm clock.

Thank you, Pets for Vets.
