Ray and Suzy

Our Philly chapter welcomed its first two members to its family in April 2019. U.S. Navy/Coast Guard Veteran Ray and his new companion, Suzy, enjoy being "couch potatoes" as well as running "best buddies" together. Suzy is a 4 year old shepherd/cattle dog mix. Ray served in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom). Ray tells us that Suzy is an "incredible dog"! We thank the Sons of the American Legion (Manoa, PA Post 667) and Match Dog Rescue (Moorestown, New Jersey) for helping us bring Ray and Suzy together. With the care and expertise from trainer Patricia and foster mom Joan, our chapter is proud to share this successful Pet-Vet match!!
